We want you to be fully satisfied with DamnSlides. This Refund Policy explains when and how you can request a refund, how cancellations work, and your rights as a consumer.
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all initial subscription purchases. If you are not satisfied with the Service for any reason, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your first payment date — no questions asked.
For subsequent monthly renewal charges, you may request a refund within 14 days of the renewal date if:
After 14 days from a renewal date, the charge for that billing period is non-refundable. However, you may cancel at any time to prevent future renewals (see Section 4).

Refund requests submitted more than 60 days after the original transaction date cannot be processed by our payment provider, regardless of the circumstances.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:
We do not automatically issue pro-rata refunds for mid-cycle cancellations. However, if you cancel within the first 7 days of a new billing cycle and have consumed fewer than 10% of your monthly credits, you may request a pro-rata refund by contacting support. We will calculate the unused portion and coordinate the refund through Paddle.
Credits consumed by AI operations (outline generation, slide deck generation, single slide regeneration, AI review) are non-refundable. When an AI operation is initiated, the underlying API cost is incurred by us regardless of the output quality, completeness, or your satisfaction with the result.
If an AI operation fails due to a verified service error on our end — such as a server timeout, system crash, API provider outage, or internal error that prevents output delivery — we will restore the consumed credits to your account. To request credit restoration:
Monthly credit allocations that expire at the end of a billing cycle are not refundable, compensable, or transferable. Credits are a use-it-or-lose-it allocation that resets each billing period.
If you receive a subscription refund, any credits received as part of that billing period will be deducted from your account. If you have already consumed more credits than were available under the Free plan, no additional charge will apply, but your account will be set to zero credits until the next reset.
If you are a consumer in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), starting from the day after the transaction is completed.

If you have not accessed any paid features or consumed any credits, you may exercise your right of withdrawal within 14 days for a full refund, even if the 30-day money-back guarantee applies separately.
EU refunds will be made using the same payment method as the original transaction, without undue delay and within 14 days of us being informed of your withdrawal decision. No additional fees will be charged for the reimbursement.

The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Changes will not apply retroactively to transactions made before the effective date.
